ELKINS, W.Va. – The Davis & Elkins College softball team hits the road this weekend for a doubleheader against Notre Dame College on Saturday, then Alderson Broaddus University on Sunday.  The Senators enter the action-packed weekend riding a six-game win streak.

Coach Elle Fracker's team swept two Mountain East Conference teams Concord University on Friday the 25^th, Glenville State on Tuesday.  
The Senators stepped out of MEC play on Wednesday and continued their hot form in Morgantown in a dominating sweep of Salem University.  D&E won by scores of 12-2 and 12-5.  The doubleheader included strong performances throughout the field and two home runs thanks to Mia Mendoza and Linzey Allard.  

On Saturday, D&E faces Notre Dame College in South Euclid, Ohio.  NDC is 9-15 on their 2022 campaign, and 2-6 in the conference.  The Falcons are on a three-game losing streak.  The first pitch of game one is scheduled for noon, and game two at 2pm. The Senators will then travel back to West Virginia to take on the Alderson Broaddus Battlers in a doubleheader on Sunday in Philippi, W.Va. The Battlers are 11-15 on the season, and 2-6 in the MEC.  ABU has won three-games in a row. The first pitch on Sunday is set for 1pm.
