ELKINS W. Va. – Coach Elle Fracker leads her Senator softball team south once again this weekend for the Newberry Round Roobin.  D&E will have two games with the host Newberry, they will also take on King University twice.

The weekend is kicked off on Saturday morning at 11am when the Senators face a strong Newberry College team. The Newberry Wolves are 15-7 so far in their spring 2022 campaign, but are coming into the game on a two-game losing streak. On Saturday afternoon, the Senators will face King University at 3pm. The Tornado enter the weekend 11-5 on the season after winning their last three.

Sunday will see rematches against both teams. First up against King University at 11am, followed by Newberry College when the first pitch is scheduled for 1pm before heading home to Elkins.

Davis & Elkins travels to South Carolina 2-9 on their campaign so far, after notching the first two wins of the season last weekend in Kentucky.
