Lucrezia Speranza added a 91 along with Sierra Knowlton's 93 for a 355-team total on day one. At the end of the day's play, the Senators sat in third place but 17 shots off the pace of tournament host Charleston.

Round Two
Coach Alasdair Forsythe's women improved on day two by two shots. Lucrezia Speranza led the Senators on day 2, shooting an 84 to tie for 14th.  Dorothy Romanek shot 85 for the second round in a row giving her another top 10, finishing in a tie for ninth.  Michelle Guerra Landa shot 91 to secure a tie for 18th and Sierra Knowlton shot another 93 for an individual 27th place.

D&E shot 353 on day two, totaling their tournament score to 708 and good enough for fourth place. They were eight shots behind West Liberty, 33 shots behind Glenville State College, and 37 shots behind champions the University of Charleston.

The Senators week was highlighted when freshman Lucrezia Speranza was not only named to the All-Conference first team but also named Freshman of the Year for the 2021-2022 season. Dorothy Romanek was also included in honors as she was named second-team All-Conference for the season.

Next for the women's team is a trip to the West Liberty Invitational on April 4 and 5. The event is played at Oglebay Resort and is the team's penultimate tournament of their 2022 season.
