ELKINS, W.Va. – Coach Daniel Mondragon's Senator basketball team travels to Wheeling for the 2022 Mountain East Conference tournament.  10^th seeded Davis & Elkins will take on seventh seeded Alderson Broaddus in the first game of the men's tournament Wednesday evening at 6pm.

ABU and D&E split the season series.  The Senators won 88-86 December 11^th in Elkins.  The Battlers took the win February 2^nd 83-70 in Philippi.

Sam Rolle IV leads Davis & Elkins.  The second team All-MEC selection finished the regular season averaging 21.4 points per game.  Rolle also dishes out five assists per contest.  Ben Gilliam has upped his average to 8.4 ppg. 

Alderson Broaddus is led by KJ Walker.  Walker scores 14.9 per contest followed by Jalen Collins 11.7.

The Senators finished the regular season 8-20 overall and 6-16 in the MEC.

The Battlers finished 12-15 overall and 9-13 in the league.

Tip-off is set for 6pm inside WesBanco Arena.
