ELKINS, W.Va. – The Davis & Elkins College men's basketball team travels to West Virginia Wesleyan this Saturday to battle the Bobcats. D&E is currently in 10
th place in the Mountain East Conference. The top 10 teams qualify for the MEC tournament next week in Wheeling. The Senators can punch their ticket to Wheeling with a win.
Sam Rolle IV leads the Senators with 21.4 points per game, he is second in the MEC. Rolle also dishes out five assists per contest.
Ben Gilliam has upped his average to 7.7 ppg. Gilliam also collects 3.9 rebounds per contest.
Cortney Walton scores 7.8 ppg and grabs 4.8 rebounds.
The Bobcats are led by Jayden Hibbitt. Hibbitt scores 19.2 ppg followed by Braeden McGrew 14.1.
D&E enters the contest with a 7-20 overall record and a 5-16 MEC record.
Wesleyan enters 2-25 overall and 1-20 in the league.
Tip-off is scheduled for 4:00pm inside Wesleyan's Rockefeller Center.
