ELKINS, W.Va. – Coach Dan Mondragon's Senator basketball team travels to Concord University on Saturday for a Mountain East Conference contest.  Davis & Elkins is fighting for a trip to Wheeling and the MEC tournament.  D&E needs to produce a couple of wins as the regular season closes a week from tomorrow.

The Senators are led by Sam Rolle IV.  Rolle nets 21 points per game.  Breland Walton scores 17.8 ppg and 9.4 rebounds.  Freshman Ben Gilliam has stepped up lately.  Gilliam averages 6.6 ppg and 3.6 rebounds. 

The Mountain Lions paced by Matt Weir's 16.5 ppg followed by Lual Rahama 15.3.  Rahama also pulls down 6.7 rebounds per contest.

D&E makes the trip to Concord with a 6-19 overall and 4-15 MEC record.

Concord enters the contest 12-13 overall and 9-10 in the league.

Tip-off is scheduled for 4pm inside the Carter Center.
