ELKINS, W.Va. -- Due to the combination of COVID-19 protocols that have been invoked on both campuses, the Mountain East Conference basketball doubleheader between the University of Charleston and Davis & Elkins College, scheduled for Saturday, January 8th at UC will be postponed. 
 
The MEC will advise at a future time regarding the status of the contests. The involved teams meet the criteria required for a forfeit exception, so the games will be indefinitely suspended until they can either be rescheduled or potentially declared a no-contest.
