ELKINS, W.Va. – The Davis & Elkins College men's basketball team faces a huge test Wednesday night as West Liberty the eighth ranked team in the country comes to town.
West Liberty travels to Elkins sporting a 16-2 overall and 10-2 Mountain East Conference record.
The Hilltoppers are led by Pat Robinson. Robinson a transfer from Holy Family averages 20.5 points per game. Bryce Butler averages 17.3 followed by Malik McKinney 9.6. West Liberty leads the MEC in scoring offense averaging 99.2 points per contest.
Sam Rolle IV leads D&E with an average of 20.9 ppg followed by
Breland Walton 17.2,
Evan Busby 12.4 and
Charleston Ponds 9. Walton leads the team in rebounding and is second in the MEC averaging 9.6 a night. Rolle is second in the MEC in assists dishing out 5.7 a game.
The Senators enter the game 6-11 overall and 4-8 in conference play.
Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30pm inside the McDonnell Center
