ELKINS, W.Va. -- In accordance with Davis & Elkins College campus protocols, the no spectator policy previously implemented for winter sports will remain in effect for home spring competitions as well.
Access to the game sites will be limited to participating teams and those workers whose duties are essential to the contest. The Mountain East Conference updated its attendance policy for outdoor sports earlier this month, noting institutional discretion in regards to spectators.
Davis & Elkins is operating as a closed campus outside of official business.
The league also announced that spectators for indoor sports (men's and women's basketball, men's and women's swimming, volleyball, wrestling, acrobatics and tumbling) at home venues will not be permitted for the remainder of the athletic season.
