HUNTINGTON, W. Va. - The Davis & Elkins College indoor track & field teams head to Huntington to compete in the Mountain East Track & Field Championships this weekend. Several Senator runners have seeded among the top runners in the MEC based on their best event time of the season. 
 
For the women's team, Svea Timm currently holds the MEC's best time in the 3000m, while Natalia Hidalgo Martinez leads the MEC in the 5000m. The 4x400 relay team of Roxine Chambers, Roxanne McFarlin, Jakeya Perrin and Samantha Kirk hold the top time in the MEC as well following an impressive race last time out at VMI. Anya Miller is seeded third in the mile, and the duo of Chambers and Kirk are third and fourth respectively in the 400m. 
 
On the men's side, Dalton Irvine is the top seed in the 60m hurdles with his NCAA Provisional Time of 8.18 seconds. Dymere Jones ranks second in the conference in the heptathlon.
