- How It Happened:Â Davis & Elkins put together one of its most impressive performances of the season and held off Fairmont State, 81-78, in a game that featured eight ties and seven lead changes. After Fairmont State tied the game with less than a minute left in regulation, D&E responded with a fastbreak layup from Erkam Kiris for an 80-78 lead.

- Myles Monroe and Kiris posted 22 points and six rebounds against Concord last time out, a new career-high scoring output for Kiris.
- With eight made three-point field goals, D&E had its most trey balls in a game since December 16 against Ohio Valley.
- The victory for D&E over Fairmont back in November snapped a three-game losing streak to the Falcons in the series, dating back to 2012.
- Mandela Baledrokadroka is eighth in the league with 3.5 assists/game and a +1.66 assist/turnover ratio.
- Donte Doleman is second in the league in scoring (20.1) and first in minutes/game (37.9) in conference games this season.
- Doleman enters the game with 100 made field goals and is set to play in his 86th career game on Wednesday.

SCOUTING FAIRMONT STATE
- Keyed by a late 16-3 scoring surge, Fairmont State posted a 93-81 victory over Wheeling last Saturday. Cole VanHandorf and Kenzie Melko dropped in 23 points each in the victory.
- Fairmont has committed the 16th fewest turnovers in the country with just 181 giveaways this season. The Falcons also rank 14th nationally in scoring offense, posting 89.1 points/game.
- Dale Bonner leads the MEC and ranks 12th nationally with 2.40 steals/game while also contributing a team-best 18.7 points/game. The redshirt-freshman also leads the MEC with 90 assists this season.
- Melko (96) and Bonner (95) rank ninth and tenth, respectively, in field goals made among MEC players.
- Fairmont State is a balanced rebounding squad with four players average 4.2 rebounds or better. Nine players average at least three boards per game for the Falcons.
