PREVIEW: Men’s Basketball Looks to Continue Momentum at Concord on Saturday

THE OPENING TIP 
Davis & Elkins hits the road looking to string together back-to-back wins on Saturday afternoon with a matchup against Concord beginning at 4:00 PM. D&E knocked off Glenville State, 79-73, last Wednesday at the McDonnell Center, while Concord saw its losing streak extended to five games last time out against West Virginia Wesleyan.

DAVIS & ELKINS NOTES

  • Concord battled back from a 12-point second half deficit to send the game to overtime, but ultimately fell 83-80 to West Virginia Wesleyan last time out. Malik Johnson had a team-high 20 points in 41 minutes, one of five players in double figures for the Mountain Lions.
  • In total, five players average double digits in scoring for Concord, with Ethan Heller (12.6 PPG) and Trey Brisco (12.4) second and third on the team in scoring.
