Davis & Elkins hits the road looking to string together back-to-back wins on Saturday afternoon with a matchup against Concord beginning at 4:00 PM. D&E knocked off Glenville State, 79-73, last Wednesday at the McDonnell Center, while Concord saw its losing streak extended to five games last time out against West Virginia Wesleyan.

• How It Happened: Concord took a 45-32 lead into the halftime break, which included an 18-0 scoring surge, and held a commanding 22-8 edge in second chance points in an 85-69 win against Davis & Elkins inside the McDonnell Center.

 
DAVIS & ELKINS NOTES 

• Donte Doleman led the Senators once again in the win against Glenville State with a career-high 31 points in 39 minutes. He went 9-of-18 from the floor, but sealed the game late with his foul shooting.
• D&E employed a recipe for success with just seven healthy players in its win against Glenville State, shooting 48.3% from the field and committing just 10 turnovers.
• Getting back into game shape, Erkam Kiris notched his second 20-point scoring effort of the season. Kiris added 12 rebounds for his third double-double of the season.
• Mandela Baledrokadroka logged a season-high 31 minutes and passed out nine of the Senators' 18 assists in the win against the Pioneers.
• Davis & Elkins has struggled on the road this season with a 1-5 record away from home.
• Myles Monroe has fired in double digits in each of the last three games, including 15 points against Glenville State.
• D&E made five three-pointers in the second half after going 1-of-7 from beyond the arc in the opening 20 minutes.
• Five players have at least 11 steals for the Senators this season.

SCOUTING CONCORD

• Concord battled back from a 12-point second half deficit to send the game to overtime, but ultimately fell 83-80 to West Virginia Wesleyan last time out. Malik Johnson had a team-high 20 points in 41 minutes, one of five players in double figures for the Mountain Lions.
• In total, five players average double digits in scoring for Concord, with Ethan Heller (12.6 PPG) and Trey Brisco (12.4) second and third on the team in scoring.
• Todd May is in his fourth season as the bench boss of the Mountain Lions.
• Concord enters the game with a 2-7 mark in conference play, tied for last in the compacted league standings.
• The Mountain Lions are last in the league with a .87 assist/turnover ratio.
