MORGANTOWN, W. Va --
Following a brief hiatus for the winter break, the Davis & Elkins College Indoor Track & Field season continued at Friday's WVU Open in Morgantown.
Dalton Irvine started the meet off with a win in the 60m Hurdles, narrowly missing a provisional time at 8.23 seconds.
Nicolas Scarangello had a strong day, winning the 400m in 52.12, while finishing third in the 200m (23.45).
Felix Buck-Gramcko won the 800m in 2:02.12, and teammate
Tyler Greer finished third.
D&E posted a 2-3-4 finish in the mile, with
Aidan Konhaus leading the way in 4:45.34, and
Caleb Carlson close behind at 4:45.83.
Dymere Jones placed third in the long jump, with a distance of 6.12 meters.
On the Women's side,
Roxine Chambers won the 400m in 1:02.80, while
Samantha Kirk came in second in 1:03.53. In addition, the two would place second (27.19) and third (27.95) in the 200m.
Hannah Moore finished third in the 800m in 2:38.99, and also set a school record in the High Jump at 1.50 meters.
Megan Augustine finished third in the 60m at 8.36 seconds, while
Anya Miller placed third in the Mile at 5:40.47.
The Senators will return to action next Saturday in Marietta, Ohio for the Pioneer Open.
