RICHMOND, Va. -
The Senators Men's Outdoor Track & Field team competed over the weekend at the Fred Hardy Invitational, at the University of Richmond.
The field was comprised of several Division I schools, and the Senators stepped their performance up to compete very well.
Emeric Arnaud came in with a blazing time of 14:43.84 in the 5000m to finish 2nd overall, the top DII finisher in the event. This time is also currently leading the GMAC and a school record.
Dawson Scheufele broke a school record in the 800m, in 1:58.10, and teammate
Scott Barker was close behind in 2:00.10.
The Men's 4x400 Relay team of
Dawson Scheufele,
Daniel Jarrell,
Nico Scarangello, and
Dymere Jones broke the school record with a time of 4:25.54.
Other notable times included
Nico Scarangello's 51.89 in the 400m, and
Daniel Jarrell's 200m time of 22.50.
The Track & Field season will continue next Friday with the Brandi Bowen Invitational at Glenville State University.
