THE OPENING TIP 
Davis & Elkins looks to halt a brief skid and get back on track on Saturday afternoon in a conference matchup against Urbana. The Senators surrendered a first half lead last time out as Notre Dame College rallied for an 87-77 overtime win on Thursday night.

AROUND THE LEAGUE  
DAVIS & ELKINS NOTES 
  • Myles Monroe posted a career-high 29 points, including all eight points in overtime, last time out for the Senators.
  • Monroe's performance was the highest output for a Senator player this season, just ahead of Donte Doleman's 26 points at Fairmont State.
  • Doleman logged a career-high 43 minutes on Thursday against the Falcons, notching 17 points and four rebounds.
  • Elliot White stepped up off a shorthanded bench and knocked down a pair of trey balls while adding three assists and two boards in 29 minutes.
  • Kyle Leslie played a career-high 23 minutes off the bench and converted a three for the second time in three outings.
  • The Senators share the ball well and rank 21st nationally in total assists (161). Four players have handed out over 20 assists this season, including 22 from Doleman and 21 from Mandela Baledrokadroka.
  • Fable Burden played 10 or more minutes for the first time since the team's season-opener at Ferris State back on November 9.
  • D&E is 2-2 against Urbana over the course of the last four meetings, with the last matchup coming in December of 2016. Wesley Sprinkle recorded 18 points in a narrow 76-74 loss to the Blue Knights that day.
  • Kevin Bracy-Davis had 23 points and seven rebounds to lead D&E to an exciting 101-99 overtime triumph on the road against Urbana back on November 28, 2015.  

SCOUTING URBANA 
  • Jordan Bradley posted a season-high 20 points in a 73-65 road loss to West Virginia Wesleyan on December 11.
  • Tehree Horn paces the Blue Knights in scoring at 12.7 points/game.
  • Kyle Kegley is a solid rim protector for the Blue Knights, ranking 31st nationally and second in the league in blocked shots/game (1.88). Kegley is also the team's leading rebounder, pulling down 59 boards so far this season.
  • Urbana has lost two consecutive road matchups and returns home for the first time since a narrow 61-58 win over Concord back on December 4.
  • Josh Gibson is the 11th head coach for Urbana in its program history, accepting the job back in March 2019. Gibson guided Lourdes to an 18-13 overall mark – the second-highest win total in school history – after going 7-22 just two years prior.
