Box Score HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The Davis & Elkins College Men's Tennis team wrapped up its 2018 spring break trip on Thursday with a loss to Palm Beach Atlantic.
The Senators were swept in the match 9-0.
Andrew Shand and
Tristram Spitsnaugle had the tightest doubles match, falling to Bernardo Ferreira and Carlos Niemeyer 8-3.
In singles play,
Obert Matthew Mulyadi had the tightest battle, dropping his No. 1 match to Pato Zarazua 6-4, 6-4.
Spitsnaugle earned the second most points for the Senators in singles action, falling 6-3, 6-2 to Pietro de Silva at the No. 4 spot.
The Senators will return to action on Wednesday, hosting West Virginia Wesleyan at 2 p.m. at the Thomas Tennis Center.
