ORLANDO, Fla. — Maureen Pasley, who recently transitioned to the role of Director of Strategic Marketing at Davis & Elkins College after serving as Sports Information Director from 2022 to 2025, earned national recognition in the 2024-25 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Creative & Digital Design Contest. Pasley received multiple honors for her creative work produced during the 2024-25 academic year, with entries placing among the best in both the College Division and Best of Division II categories. The contest results were announced Wednesday afternoon during the Special Awards Luncheon on the final day of #CSCUnite25 at the Orlando World Center Marriott Resort.
The CSC Creative & Digital Design Contest drew a record 2,160 total entries this year, including 1,230 in the College Division, which features institutions from NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, NAIA, two-year colleges, and Canadian programs. More than 250 institutions and conference offices were represented in the contest, which honors excellence in digital and creative content among collegiate athletic communications professionals.
Pasley earned multiple honors across several categories for her creative work during the 2024-25 academic year. In the College Division Game Day Graphics Contest, she collected 16th place for her baseball game day graphic and 18th place for her swimming Mountain East Conference (MEC) Championship game day design.
Her creative work also stood out in the Best of Division II honors, where her swimming championship graphic earned 9th place, her baseball game day graphic took 10th, and a softball game day graphic finished 14th overall.
In the Individual Awards, Milestone, and Record Graphics category, Pasley earned 12th place in the College Division for her women's lacrosse MEC All-Conference graphic. The same graphic was also recognized among the Best of Division II, claiming 9th place.
Pasley was among 229 individuals whose work was recognized nationally in this year's competition, which saw a 33.5% increase in participation from the previous year. This marks the first time Davis & Elkins College has been honored in the CSC Creative & Digital Design Contest.
