PITTSBURGH, Pa. -- The Davis & Elkins College volleyball team was swept 3-0 by Point Park University on Thursday evening in Pittsburgh, Pa. The Senators fought hard but ultimately fell short with set scores of 22-25, 31-33, and 22-25.
Reanne Debose led Davis & Elkins with a team-high 11 kills and added six digs. Melisa Ozsar contributed seven kills and five digs, while Clara Caralt had a strong defensive presence with 16 digs and three kills. Gracjana Rozanska played well both offensively and defensively, recording four kills, five blocks, and four digs.
Despite the loss, the Senators displayed resilience, particularly in the second set, which featured 17 ties and extended into extra points before Point Park secured the win.
