SALEM, W. Va. -- The Davis & Elkins College volleyball team extended their winning streak to three with a 3-1 road victory over Salem University (2-9) on Tuesday night at T. Edward Davis Gymnasium. The Senators secured the match with set scores of 25-19, 25-16, 21-25, and 25-20.
Reanne Debose led the charge once again for D&E with 16 kills, while Gracjana Rozanska was nearly flawless, adding 10 kills and a .625 hitting percentage. Setter Haylie Marumoto orchestrated the offense with 42 assists, also contributing 12 digs and 3 service aces.
Defensively, the Senators held firm, recording 73 digs, with Maddie Edicola leading the effort with 14. The team also tallied 9 aces, with Kaylee Vanjo and Marumoto each delivering key serves down the stretch.
Despite a late push from the Tigers in the third set, D&E regained control in the fourth to close out the match. The Senators improve to 4-4 on the season as they conclude non-conference play.

With the win, the Senators are riding high on momentum as they prepare to open Mountain East Conference play on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at Point Park University in Pittsburgh.
