Karsel scored the first two goals of the contest. The first was an unassisted goal in the eighth minute. The second came on an Andrea Stanziola assist in the ninth minute.

Karsel returned the favor in the nineteenth minute when she set up Stanziola for the third goal of the game.

Natalia Roppola scored Wesleyan's lone goal of the game in the thirty-ninth minute. The unassisted goal made the score 3-1 in favor of the Senators at halftime.

Ciara Casamento scored a D&E goal in the seventy-ninth minute unassisted to put the Senators up 4-1. Catalina Salas then scored on a penalty kick.

In the eighty-fourth minute, Karsel scored her final goal of the game to complete the hat trick. The goal again came unassisted.
