BUCKHANNON, W.Va. – Davis & Elkins scored once in the first half and held West Virginia Wesleyan scoreless in the final regular season contest of the men's soccer season to hold on for a 1-0 victory and improve its Mountain East Conference record to 7-5-2.
Johan Magana scored his sixth goal of the season in the thirty-second minute of the contest to give D&E the game-winner.

Grant Wyles turned away eight shots on goal in the contest, including an all-important penalty kick he was able to block with a diving effort.
With the win, Davis & Elkins improved to 8-6-3 overall and 7-5-2 in the MEC. The also earned the third position in the MEC Tournament and the right to host a first-round contest.
Wesleyan fell to 8-7-3 overall and 5-6-3. They will be the #5 seed in the Tournament and play on the road against #4 Concord.

3 p.m.: #6 West Liberty (4-6-4) at #3 Davis & Elkins (7-5-2)
