WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – Davis & Elkins faced off with West Liberty for a Wednesday night Mountain East Conference matchup and the Senators' Johan Magana scored the lone goal of the contest to lead D&E to its fifth conference win of the season.

The win avenged a 4-0 home loss to the Hilltoppers to open the season.

Magana's goal, his fourth of the season, came in the thirtieth minute off a Shemar Daley assist.

The two teams were relatively evenly matched throughout. Each team managed fourteen shots and the two goalies had five saves each. The difference maker in the game was the additional shot on goal by Magana that he slipped by the Hilltopper's keeper following a well-placed volley from Daley.
