ROXBORO, N.C. -- Davis & Elkins triathlon finished second in the team standings and Zoe van Dijk added a top-five individual finish at the 2021 Hyco Lake Triathlon Festival on Saturday afternoon. 

The race marked the season finale for the abbreviated spring 2021 campaign for the Senators, who finished in second with 51 points. Queens took each of the first four spots to win the event with 10 points, while Lenoir-Rhyne (58), Drury (66), Daemen (88) and King (154). 

Van Dijk earned fifth with a 1:06:19. Eleonora Pierre was not far behind, finishing seventh in 1:07.15. 

Rut Tallon (18th; 1:10:24), Mia Pelletier (21st; 1:10:39) and Dru Mills (33rd; 1:17:20) rounded out the finishers for D&E on Saturday. 

Davis & Elkins opens up the new triathlon season next fall.
