- Johnson scored quickly to start the second with a layup off a feed from Courtney Roth to trim the deficit to just two at 19-17, but the Battlers countered back to ultimately extend their advantage to double digits with a Madeline Moyer jumper at 5:26. After pushing the lead to 10 again at 4:10, D&E scored the next seven points, keyed by an Eadsforth-Yates trey.
- Johnson sank a jumper to make it 36-35 and force a timeout with 1:30 left in the half and the junior pushed D&E in front with under a minute remaining on a layup. D&E led 39-38 at the break after Eadsforth-Yates posted the final score of the frame with just under 30 seconds remaining.
- Eadsforth-Yates converted a clutch three at 7:33 in the third and D&E did not trail the rest of the way, pushing its advantage to seven just minutes later following a Mohler three-pointer.
- Tailyn Silver dropped the stick-back with 1:31 left in the third, pushing the lead to seven once again. Mohler made it a double-digit advantage with her jumper at 6:35 in the fourth as D&E held on to the comfortable lead for the remainder of the game.
