The Senators started out strong, but couldn't prevent the big inning in yesterday's 11-5 loss at Concord University.
D&E took an early lead when Giuseppe Orlando hit a ground rule double to score
Dominic Bianchini in the 3rd inning. Orlando would score to take a 2-1 lead.
Bianchini would add an RBI double of his own, scoring
Troy McMillion, who had two hits on the day to take a 4-3 lead heading into the 5th inning.
The Mountain Lions would tack on eight runs in the next two innings to take an 11-4 lead. D&E would add another run in the 9th in the 11-5 final.
Max Larimore threw three solid relief innings, allowing one hit and punching out two Concord hitters.
Christian Ortega added two hits on the day as well.
The Senators will head to Glenville for a game with their in-state rival on Tuesday at 4:30.
