The Davis & Elkins College Women's Basketball team fell to the visiting Walsh Cavaliers 81-48 on Thursday night in the McDonnell Center.
An 18-0 first quarter run led the Cavaliers to a 29-7 lead after one quarter of play. The Senators were able to cut the deficit to 12 in the third quarter.
Colleena Burdock led the Senators in scoring with 17 points, and added three steals.
Jamiyah Johnson had eight points and six boards, while
Sydney Nestor added six points.
The Senators will host Malone on Saturday afternoon. Tip-off is set for 2 PM, immediately following the men's game in the McDonnell Center.
