NASHVILLE, Ten. -
Jamiyah Johnson's double-double was not enough as the Senators fell to Trevecca Nazarene 57-50 on Saturday afternoon in Nashville.
The Senators and Trojans were tight through the first quarter, but Trevecca outscored D&E 15-9 in the second quarter to take a five point lead into the break.
Trevecca added to the lead in the third quarter, leading by as many as 18 points. The Senators rallied in the fourth quarter, making it a one possession game down the stretch, but the Trojans scored the final few points to make it a 57-50 final score.
Jamiyah Johnson led the way for the Senators with 20 points and 14 rebounds en route to her sixth double-double of the season.
Jay Kilpatrick added nine points, and 
Colleena Burdock had eight points and three steals.
The Senators will close out the regular season with a homestand this week at the McDonnell Center. They host Cedarville on Thursday for their Code Red game. Tip-off is set for 5:30 PM.
