HILLSDALE, Mich. – The Davis & Elkins College Volleyball team dropped its match this afternoon at Hillsdale College 3-0.
The Senators were unable to keep pace with the league leaders, falling to the Chargers 25-16, 25-11, 25-16.
Kaitlyn LaCour led the way for the Senators in kills (6) and shared the lead in digs (14) with
Kelly Smith.
Elyse Bonnett led the Senators in assists (12) while
Raleighanne Weaver and
Charisse Mitchell shared the lead in blocks with two.
The Senators were held to a .000 attacking percentage, being forced into 22 attacking errors, matching the 22 kills for D&E.
Defensively, the Senators held Hillsdale to .229 attacking, forcing 18 errors.
The Senators will return to action, closing out a three-game road swing with a match against Cedarville on Tuesday. First serve is set for 7 p.m. in Ohio.
