Asheli Freed knocked home the game winner in the 106
th minute as Davis & Elkins Women's Soccer defeated Alderson Broaddus 2-1 in double overtime Tuesday night.
 
Freed connected on a cross in from the right wing by 
Natalia Ruiz Guerrero and put it past Diyonus Walls to give the Senators their second-straight double overtime victory.
 
Freed scored two goals in the game, as she also put the Senators in the lead in the 44
th minute of the game with a penalty kick goal.
 
The Senators earned a penalty off of a foul in the box on a Davis & Elkins corner kick.
 
Davis & Elkins held the lead until Alderson Broaddus received their own attempt from the penalty spot, where Deven Jones beat 
Lauren Hill to the right side to tie the game at one.
 
Lauren Hill would make five saves total in the contest, including a key stop in the first overtime to continue the contest.
 
Freed's goals were the first two of her season and Ruiz Guerrero picked up her first point as a Senator with the assist.
 
The Senators have reached double overtime in three of their four matches this season, a tie at West Liberty in the season opener and a pair of 2-1 victories over Kentucky Wesleyan on Saturday and tonight against the Battlers.
 
Davis & Elkins will return to action on Thursday, as the Senators travel to Vienna to take on Ohio Valley. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
