ELKINS – The Davis & Elkins College Women's Soccer team fell to Ohio Valley 1-0 on Tuesday night in the regular season finale at Nuttall Field.
 
The Senators started strong with both of their first half shots testing Kim Mora in goal, but Ohio Valley would take the lead on a wonder goal from Montserratt Grau in the 27^th minute.
 
Graul's goal from 20 yards out to the top left corner would be the only of the game for either team.
 
Tessa Stewart would come the closest to equalizing for the Senators in the second half as her free kick from 35 yards out was barely tipped over the bar for a corner kick.
 
Stewart had another free kick mishandled by Mora, but Asheli Freed was unable to get on the end of the ball.
 
Lauren Hill made four saves in the five attempts on goal.
 
Davis & Elkins had three corner kicks to a pair for the visitors in the match.
 
The Senators will enter the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Tournament as the No. 7 seed. Davis & Elkins will travel to Nashville to take on No. 2 seed Trevecca Nazarene on Saturday. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. CT.
