ELKINS – Davis & Elkins College Women's Soccer fell to Indiana University of Pennsylvania 2-0 Monday afternoon at Nuttall Field in the final non-conference battle before Great Midwest Athletic Conference play begins.

th minute with a long run and goal from Gianna Parlavecchio on a counter attack.
Indiana controlled most of the first have and
Samantha Wehri came up big on a few occasions to keep the game a 1-0 for the Senators with five saves.
The Senators came out strong to start the second half and had multiple scoring chances, testing Madeline Smakulski four times, but were unable to find the equalizer.
Late in the game, the Crimson Hawks doubled their lead on a set piece, as McKenna Keffel banged home a ball back into the middle of the box after a corner kick went to the far side of the penalty area.
The Senators will return to action on Saturday with a 7 p.m. game against rival Alderson Broaddus to kick off Great Midwest play.
