COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Davis & Elkins College Men's Soccer team picked up its third consecutive shutout victory in Great Midwest play on Tuesday with a 1-0 victory over Ohio Dominican.
 
Tim Staerz scored his fourth goal of the season to give the Senators the lead in the 23^rd minute of the contest. Staerz scored from close range on the right side after Abel Ameyaw sent a pass across the box from the left.
 
Hedi Mehnaoui picked up his third consecutive shutout of the season with a season high seven saves in the contest.
 
The Senators outshot Ohio Dominican 15-11 in the contest, but the hosts had seven corners to D&E's five.
 
Davis & Elkins College will return to action on Saturday with a trip to Painesville, Ohio to face Lake Erie College. The match is set for a 3 p.m. start.
