PEPPER PIKE, Ohio – The Senators fell to Ursuline 74-82 Wednesday night.
The Senators and the Arrows were evenly matched in the beginning of the game and were tied 15-15 at the end of the first quarter.
D&E fell behind in the second quarter and were unable to keep pace with the high-scoring Ursuline team in the third quarter, as the Arrows outscored the Senators 25-11.
The Senators mounted a comeback in the fourth quarter, outscoring the Arrows 32-17, but were unable to overcome the deficit, losing 74-82.
Aliyah Dukes scored over 20 points for the second straight game. Dukes scored 22 points to go along with two rebounds, two assists, and a steal.
Sydney Snyder scored 15 points and shot 5-of-9 from behind the arc. Snyder also had two assists and a steal.
Kali Wilburn had nine points, a rebound, an assist, and a block.
Jamiyah Johnson had a career night in the glass, grabbing 10 rebounds and scoring eight points in only eight minutes in action.
The Senators will return to action Saturday to take on rival Alderson Broaddus at 12 p.m.
