ELKINS - Davis & Elkins Swept Ohio Dominican in three sets Thursday night.

The Senators took control early in the first set and set the tone for the entire game. D&E took the first set 25-16 by out killing the Panthers and forcing errors from ODU.

D&E continued to apply the offensive and defensive pressure on ODU, winning the second set 25-15.

The Panthers briefly took a lead in the third set, but the Senators quickly tied the game and pulled away to a 25-17 victory.

Kaitlyn LaCour led the team with twelve kills,
Lillie Mueller and
Sasha Johnson each had nine kills.

Zoe Craig had three aces,
Kelly Smith had one.
Â
Johnson had six blocks, Mueller and
Raleighanne Weaver each had five blocks.
Â
Craig had 31 assists,
Madi Gil and Smith had two assists apiece.
Â
Mueller led the team with fourteen digs, Craig had nine, and Gil had seven.
Mueller had the best game of the season as she had nine kills, five blocks, fourteen digs to go along with a .364 hitting percentage.
D&E had 41 kills, compared to 28 from ODU, and eleven blocks compared to the Panthers' two.
