Fairmont, W.Va. – The Volleyball team fell to Fairmont State in straight sets on Tuesday night.
The Senators fell into an early lead in all three sets and were unable to overcome the deficit, losing 25-17, 25-12, 25-13.
Sasha Johnson led the team in kills with seven, followed by
Anna Gallup and
Lillie Mueller, who had five each.
Kelly Smith had fourteen digs, followed by
Kaitlyn LaCour with ten, and Mueller with seven.
LaCour and
Raleighanne Weaver each had two blocks, and Johnson and Gallup had one each.
Zoe Craig led the team with 17 assists, followed by
Elyse Bonnett and
Karlie Richardson with four each.
The Senators return home to take on conference opponent Ohio Dominican on Thursday at 7 p.m.
