ELKINS – The Davis & Elkins College Women's Basketball team set a G-MAC record for threes in a game as the Senators defeated Bluefield State 104-64 Tuesday night at the McDonnell Center.

The Senators made 19 three pointers in the contest, topping the previous record of 17 held by Alderson Broaddus. The Senators were 57.6 from behind the arc and were led by Sydney Turner (5-for-5) and Stephanie Wooten (5-for-8).

Wooten recorded 17 points to go along with nine assists and six rebounds. Turner finished with 15 points and collected four rebounds.

Aliyah Dukes also had four three pointers and finished with a team high 18 points in the game.

The Senators had five players in double figures, as Kali Wilburn and Tajee Pledger had 15 and 10 points, respectively.
