Gustavo Cabral enters his second season as a student assistant coach for the Davis & Elkins soccer program in 2021-22.
Transitioning from a player to a student assistant for the men's team in the spring 2021 campaign, Cabral steps on campus in the fall to assist Director of Soccer Dean Johnson with both the men's and women's programs.
Cabral helped with various day-to-day functions of the men's soccer program in the shortened spring season, which saw the Senators go 7-2, make an appearance in the MEC Tournament and rise up to ninth nationally in the US Soccer Coaches Top 25 Poll.
D&E placed three student-athletes on the All-MEC First Team, with a total of eight Senators receiving all-conference recognition during the spring 2021 season.
Cabral is working towards a degree in finance from Davis & Elkins College.
