Davis and Elkins College Athletics

VOLLEYBALL MATCHDAY INFORMATION

• Host: Your Game Site Administrator will meet you upon your arrival to the venue. They will escort you to the locker rooms, as well as provide instructions for parking and any other questions you may have.
  • For 2021 season, all personnel entering building will complete a temperature and symptom check. 
• Benches: Visiting teams will occupy the south bench (closed end). Davis & Elkins will occupy the north bench.
• Locker Rooms: Locker rooms will be provided on the west side of the McDonnell Center. A host will lead the visiting team to the locker room and lock the door when the team is not occupying it.
• Team Parking: Parking for vans/buses will be available in the gravel parking area to the right side of the parking area next to the McDonnell Center.

 

• Parking/Tailgating: Parking for parents and fans is available in the main parking area that sits between the McDonnell Center and the Allen Athletic Fields. Parking should be in provided spaces, unless otherwise instructed by parking officials. Tailgating is permitted in the parking areas, however there is no outside food or drink allowed within the premises of the McDonnell Center.
• Tickets: General Admission tickets for Davis & Elkins College Athletic Events are $7 for adults (14-54 years old). All senior tickets (55+ years old) are $5 per person. All ticket sales are CASH ONLY.
• Concessions: Davis & Elkins College athletic events have concessions, which includes assorted drinks and snacks. All concessions sales are CASH ONLY.
  • The MEC will begin the winter sports season with no spectators. The league's Board of Directors will evaluate the policy no earlier than January 19, 2021.

 

• Athletic Training: Athletic Training will provide ice and water, as well as a training table and access to the training room, if needed.
• Stats: Live stats will be available for each home volleyball match. Printed box scores will be distributed between sets and at the conclusion of the match.
  • Volleyball Live Stats Feed 
  • For 2021: One printed copy of each in-game box score will be placed at the end of the scorer's table rather than delivered. 
• Video: Game film will be available via Hudl following the game. All home matches will be live streamed on the MEC Digital Network. 
• Between Sets: Three minutes 
• Security: Campus Security available as needed.
