Soccer Visiting Team Information
SOCCER GAME DAY INFORMATION
Host: Your game host and/or Game Site Administrator will meet you upon your arrival to the venue. They will escort you to the locker rooms, as well as provide instructions for parking and any other questions you may have.
Benches: Visiting teams will occupy the south bench. Davis & Elkins will occupy the north bench (Scoreboard end).
Locker Rooms: Locker rooms will be provided on the west side of the McDonnell Center. A host will lead the visiting team to the locker room. Locker rooms will be open during your game, so teams should bring gear bags to the field or leave them at the buses or vans.
Team Parking: Parking for vans/buses will be available in the gravel parking area to the right side of the parking area next to the McDonnell Center.
Facility Requests/Walkthrough: Teams may request practice time, walkthrough time, no later than 72 hours (3 days) in advance of a contest. Any request after the deadline that may not be granted times. Also, some requests may not be granted due to conflicts in scheduling for other events at the College. We hope all teams understand and that we will make the best effort possible to accommodate all requests. Requests should be sent to Jamie Joss, Director of Athletics, jossj@dewv.edu, 304-637-1342.
Parking/Tailgating: Parking for parents and fans is available in the main parking area that sits between the McDonnell Center and the Allen Athletic Fields. Parking should be in provided spaces, unless otherwise instructed by parking officials. Tailgating is permitted in the parking areas, however there is no outside food or drink allowed within the premises of the Allen Athletic Fields and Nuttall Field.
Tickets: General Admission tickets for Davis & Elkins College Athletic Events are $7 for adults (14-54 years old). All senior tickets (55+ years old) are $5 per person. All ticket sales are CASH ONLY.
Concessions: Davis & Elkins College athletic events have concessions, which includes assorted drinks and snacks. All concessions sales are CASH ONLY.
Athletic Training: Athletic Training will provide ice and water, as well as a training table and access to the training room, if needed.
Video: Teams may film from the scaffolding located at midfield between both benches.
Halftime: Halftime will be 15 minutes.
Security: Campus Security on site.
