CHARLESTON, W.Va. — The Davis & Elkins University women's golf team closed its season at the Mountain East Conference Spring Classic, finishing fifth in the team standings at Edgewood Country Club in Sissonville, West Virginia.

Competing against seven teams, the Senators posted a two-day total of 164-over-par to place fifth in the field. Glenville State won the event at 43-over-par, followed by Charleston (WV) in second at 47-over-par.

Davis & Elkins was led by a pair of top-10 finishes as Marina Saviceva-Noti and Gadea Melgarejo each tied for 10th place at 18-over-par. Saviceva-Noti carded rounds of 80 and 82, while Melgarejo also finished at 80 and 82 to pace the Senators.

Grace Bronkella finished 33rd at 51-over-par after rounds of 92 and 103, while Alexis Herndon placed 37th at 77-over-par, posting rounds of 105 and 116.

The Mountain East Conference Spring Classic concluded the 2025 season for Davis & Elkins.
