ELKINS, W.Va. – Davis & Elkins College men's soccer is pleased to announce the hiring of Remy Tazifor as its new assistant coach ahead of the 2025 season. 

Tazifor joins the Senators after spending the past four seasons with Michigan Stars Football Club, a professional team based in Washington, Michigan. During his tenure as first assistant coach, he helped guide the club to three major trophies — capturing the NISA Championship and winning the NISA Independent Cup twice — while posting an impressive 45-7-3 overall record. 

"Remy brings a wealth of professional experience that will be a tremendous asset to both our players and coaching staff," head coach Meir Lewin said. 

In addition to his professional experience, Tazifor served as head coach of United Stars Soccer Academy in the UPSL, where he led the team to an undefeated regular season. He brings over seven years of coaching experience and holds a U.S. Soccer Federation B coaching license. 

Before transitioning into coaching, Tazifor enjoyed a 10-year professional playing career, suiting up for clubs including the Pittsburgh Riverhounds, Detroit City FC, Michigan Stars FC, and IFK Valen TF. 

Originally from Cameroon, Tazifor holds an associate degree in sports management from the University of Buea and an associate of arts from Prince George's Community College in Maryland. 

Tazifor brings a wealth of experience and a championship pedigree to the D&E sidelines as the program looks to build on its recent success.
