NEW ORLEANS, LA. – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced its 2025 NCAA Division II All-Academic honors on Monday, with both the Davis & Elkins College men's and women's cross country programs being named All-Academic Teams. Additionally, five Senators earned individual All-Academic recognition.
The D&E women's team posted an impressive 3.603 cumulative GPA, while the men's team recorded a 3.149 GPA. To earn All-Academic Team honors, a program must hold a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
These academic honors come in addition to a standout season on the course, where the Senators won the Mountain East Conference Championship, captured the NCAA Atlantic Region title, and competed at the NCAA Division II Championships.
Individually, five Davis & Elkins student-athletes were named USTFCCCA All-Academic Athletes. To qualify for this distinction, student-athletes must have at least a 3.25 cumulative GPA and must have achieved an NCAA Provisional Qualifying Standard, while also ranking in the top 50 individually or top 35 in a relay on the TFRRS descending national order list.
