The Senators (9-14, 5-10 MEC) held their own in the first half, trailing by just five points at the break, 37-32. A back-and-forth second half saw D&E keep pace, but Wheeling (11-12, 6-9 MEC) capitalized at the free-throw line and closed out the game with clutch scoring down the stretch.
