CHARLESTON, W.Va. — The Davis & Elkins men's basketball team came up short on Saturday night, losing 91-60 to the University of Charleston in a Mountain East Conference matchup at H. Bernard Wehrle Arena.

Senior Charleston Ponds led the Senators (6-10, 3-6 MEC) with 18 points, shooting 7-of-12 from the field, including two 3-pointers, and adding three rebounds and two assists in 32 minutes. Sophomore guard Kerem Sariaslan contributed 11 points off the bench, connecting on 4-of-6 attempts, including two 3-pointers.
