Elkins, W.Va. -- The Senators fell to West Virginia Wesleyan in the final game of the season 71-61 in the McDonnell Center.
Madison Butler led the way for the Senators with 22 points and 7 rebounds on the day.
The Senators would jump out to an early 14-11 lead after the first quarter. The Bobcats cranked up the defense in the second quarter by holding the Senators to 3-11 (27.27%) shooting in the quarter and took a 27-22 lead into the halftime.
The third quarter would be a similar story as the Senators were only able to shoot 4-13 (30.77%) from the field as the Bobcats took a 48-38 lead into the fourth quarter. The Senators weren't able to cut into the lead during the fourth quarter despite scoring 23 points.
Taylor Smith scored 13 points and added 5 assists.
