Greenville, Pa. -- Davis & Elkins increased their win streak to start the season to eight games with a 12-9 win over Thiel College. Ari Hinton led the Senators with 4 goals in the game.

Thiel took an early lead in the first period with a goal at the 12:06 mark. The Senators would answer back with two goals towards the end of the first period to take a 2-1 lead into the second. In the second period the Senators would outscore Thiel 3-1 and took a 5-2 lead into halftime.

The third period would see the teams alternate goals back-and-forth as the Senators took a 9-5 lead into the fourth period. Thiel would start the fourth period strong and cut the lead to 11-9 with 1:41 remaining in the game. The Senators would score the final goal of the game with :46 remaining to prevent the comeback.

Rylee Anderson added 2 goals for the Senators.

Marissa Cuevas picked up her 8th win of the season collecting 12 saves and 7 groundballs.
