Ettrick, Va. -- Davis & Elkins picked up another win on the road against Virginia State by a score of 16-7 to extend their win streak to nine games to start the season.
Morgan Rogers led the offensive attack with 4 goals and an assist.
The Senators dominated the first period by scoring the first five goals of the game to take a 5-1 lead. The Trojans would return the favor by outscoring the Senators 4-0 in the second period and the teams went into halftime tied 5-5.
The Senators would pull away in the third period by outscoring the Trojans 7-2 to take a 12-7 lead heading into the fourth period. The Senators defense would remain locked in for the fourth period by not giving up a goal to secure the win.

Marissa Cuevas was dominant in goal for the Senators collecting 20 saves, 7 groundballs and caused 3 turnovers to earn her 9th win of the season.
