Athens, W.Va. -- Concord used an efficient second half of offense to pull away from Davis & Elkins and hand the Senators a 85-73 loss on the road.
Sam Rolle IV led the way for the Senators with 22 points on 8-16 shooting and added 4 assists.
The first half was back and forth as both with neither team being able to pull away. The Senators held the largest lead of the half at eight points when they lead 33-25 with 2:47 to play in the half. The Mountain Lions would trim the lead to four as the Senators led 35-31 going into the locker room.
The Mountain Lions would shoot 20-36 (55.56%) from the field in the second half, including 7-10 (70%) from the three-point line.
Vadim Clanet added 12 points and 6 rebounds while
Clarens Pierre added 8 points, 6 rebounds and 3 blocks for the Senators.
