ATHENS, W.Va. -- Davis & Elkins dropped a four-game series with the white-hot Concord Mountain Lions. The Mountain East Conference South leaders are 15-1 in the conference and own a ten game win streak.

GAME ONE
Davis & Elkins fought back after falling behind by five runs in the second inning. D&E put up four runs in the comeback attempt.

Aydin Zimmerman,
Connor Hyde, and
Fletcher Hindman came through with RBIs to lead the rally.

Concord scored two runs in the first inning on a double and then three runs in the second inning.

Andrew Neff took the win for Concord. The pitcher surrendered four runs on seven hits over six innings, striking out five and walking one.

Nick Sanso started the game for Concord. Sanso went one inning, allowing zero runs on one hit and walking zero.

Jake Garrett took the loss for the Senators. The lefty allowed six hits and five runs over five innings, striking out four.

D&E tallied eight hits on the day. Zimmerman and
Larry Kusan each collected multiple hits for the Senators.

GAME TWO
D&E fell behind early in the second game Saturday and couldn't come back in a 12-0 loss to Concord.

The Senators struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Concord University, giving up 12 runs.
Â
Rylee Nicholas was the winning pitcher for Concord. The pitcher lasted six innings, allowing one hit and zero runs while striking out five.

Wes Athey took the loss for Davis & Elkins. The lefty allowed four hits and five runs over three innings.

Connor Hyde, Zimmerman, and
Cort Kegley all had one hit to lead Davis & Elkins.

GAME THREE
In the first game of Monday's doubleheader, Davis & Elkins dropped a 7-5 decision to Concord.

D&E lost despite out-hitting Concord nine to seven.
Â
Eddie Blake led the Concord University to victory on the hill. Blake lasted six and a third innings, allowing seven hits and two runs while striking out five.

Matthew Colon took the loss for Davis & Elkins. Colon lasted two-thirds of an inning, allowing three hits and four runs.

Aydin Zimmerman led Davis & Elkins College with three hits in four at bats.

GAME FOUR
Concord put two runs on the board in the second inning and didn't look back in a 7-2 win over Davis & Elkins in the series finale.

Concord University scored three more runs in the fifth inning to put more distance between themselves and the Senators.

Kyle Keenan was the winning pitcher for Concord University. Keenan surrendered zero runs on three hits over two and two-thirds innings, striking out three and walking zero. Brendan Brady threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Jake Spearen took the loss for D&E. The righthander surrendered seven runs on 11 hits over five innings, striking out one and walking zero.

MJ Hunter started the game for Concord University. The ace allowed four hits and two runs over three and a third innings, striking out three and walking one
