ELKINS, W.Va. -- The visiting West Liberty Hilltoppers raced out to a 45-20 lead and held on to beat the Senators 96-67 in Mountain East Conference women's basketball action Saturday.
Jackie Wright came off the bench to lead the Senators with a career-high 18 points to go along with 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and a steal.
Taylor Smith and Kaylee Milburn both scored in double-figures, with Smith adding 13 and Milburn adding 10.
LaChazity Shaver chipped in 8 points on 4 of 9 shooting.
Alexis Smith and Marissa Berlin added 6 points apiece. Berlin led the Senators in rebounding with 6, while Madison Butler and Angel Broadus each had 5.
West Liberty's Corinne Thomas led all scorers with 21.
